The position

Gravel & Gold is seeking an organized, proactive Part-Time Inventory & Fulfillment Coordinator to own the flow of inventory from our studio to our customers, retail shops, and wholesale partners.

This is a key operations role responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and keeping product organized and available wherever it's needed. The ideal candidate enjoys creating order, solving logistical problems, and takes pride in making systems run smoothly.

What You'll Do

1. Order Fulfillment

• Fulfill daily Shopify orders using ShipStation.

• Process and ship wholesale orders through Faire and other wholesale channels.

• Pack orders accurately, efficiently, and with care.

• Prioritize urgent shipments and maintain an organized fulfillment workflow.

2. Inventory Management

• Restock our retail shop, online inventory, and satellite locations based on sell-through.

• Receive, count, label, and shelve incoming inventory.

• Organize backstock and continually optimize storage as inventory changes.

• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

• Complete regular cycle counts and assist with annual inventory.

• Coordinate inventory transfers between locations.

3. Inventory Planning & Operations

• Monitor inventory levels and identify products that need replenishment.

• Run basic sales and inventory reports in Shopify.

• Communicate inventory needs and merchandising opportunities to the management team.

• Help improve inventory systems and operational workflows.

• Maintain clean, organized stockrooms and fulfillment areas.

• Keep shipping supplies stocked and organized.

• Assist with seasonal inventory moves and merchandising projects.

What We're Looking For

• Availability to work part-time (15-25 hours/week)

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

• Experience with Shopify, ShipStation, Faire, or similar e-commerce platforms is preferred.

• Experience in inventory management, fulfillment, retail operations, or merchandising.

• Comfortable lifting and moving boxes up to 40 pounds.

• Familiarity with spreadsheets and basic inventory reporting.

• An appreciation for thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and independent businesses.
